Fox Hollow Farm Wedding Photographer | Luxury Estate Wedding Inspiration

Fox Hollow Farm by Landmark Event Co. is one of the most versatile and visually striking outdoor wedding venues near Seattle. Set in the Issaquah foothills about 30 minutes from downtown, the property brings together a historic 1940s manor, a private ceremony lawn, manicured gardens, and a rustic barn all in one place.

As a Seattle wedding photographer, I had the opportunity to photograph this luxury estate wedding inspiration shoot at Fox Hollow Farm, created to showcase what an elegant black tie wedding can look like on the property. From the statement florals to the timeless styling of the bride and groom, every detail was carefully chosen to complement the estate’s romantic atmosphere. A vintage Mercedes parked in the courtyard added a classic touch and brought even more character to an already stunning setting.

Whether you are planning an intimate garden ceremony or a larger celebration with family and friends, Fox Hollow Farm offers beautiful spaces for every part of the wedding day. Keep reading to explore the venue, discover its unique spaces, and see why so many couples fall in love with getting married at Fox Hollow Farm.

Fox Hollow Farm: Country Estate Wedding Venue

Fox Hollow Farm is an all-inclusive wedding venue in Issaquah, WA where you can host your entire celebration in one place, from getting ready to the final dance. Couples can rent the property for a full wedding weekend experience and stay at the historic Manor House, which sleeps up to 16 guests and includes both a bridal suite and a groom’s suite.

The venue offers two outdoor ceremony spaces, flexible reception areas, and in house catering featuring a unique, farm inspired menu. With everything on the property designed to flow seamlessly together, Fox Hollow Farm makes it easy to relax, celebrate, and enjoy a full weekend surrounded by your closest people.

What is the best season to get married at Fox Hollow Farm?

Fox Hollow Farm is most popular from spring through early fall, when the gardens are in full bloom and the outdoor spaces are at their best. However, because the venue combines outdoor ceremony lawns with fully tented reception spaces and the manor house, it works well year round, and each season brings something different to the property.

Spring: the gardens are lush and blooming, soft green tones everywhere, and the light is gentle. A popular choice for couples who want a fresh and airy aesthetic.

Summer: the longest days mean the most flexibility with golden hour timing, the grounds are fully green, and the outdoor spaces are at their most vibrant.

Fall: the wooded hillside turns golden and the surrounding foliage adds rich warm tones that photograph beautifully. A strong season for editorial and moody palettes.

Winter: the property takes on a quieter and more intimate feel. The manor is especially warm and inviting, and the overcast Pacific Northwest light is actually ideal for portraits since it stays soft and even all day.

What to Expect from Your Wedding Day Photography at Fox Hollow Farm

As a Seattle wedding photographer, here’s how I typically structure and photograph a full wedding day at Fox Hollow Farm, a venue that offers endless opportunities for storytelling, natural moments, and refined portraits.

Getting Ready

I arrive early to start the day as everyone is getting ready, capturing the natural, candid moments that unfold in the Manor House rooms. These spaces have generous natural light and beautiful interior details, making them perfect for both editorial‑style portraits and relaxed documentary coverage. I begin by photographing your details, the gown, florals, shoes, and jewelry before moving into the authentic preparation moments with your wedding party.

Family and Couples Portraits

Fox Hollow Farm offers several distinct portrait locations, each with its own mood and aesthetic. Some of my favorite spots include the brick herringbone courtyard in front of the Manor House, the creekside pathways, a private garden nook perfect for first looks, and the barn area for a more rustic editorial feel. Before the wedding, we’ll also talk through the style of portraits you’re most drawn to, whether that’s romantic and soft, editorial and structured, or candid and movement‑driven, so I can plan a portrait sequence that reflects your vision.

Ceremony

I cover ceremonies at Fox Hollow Farm from multiple angles so I can document both the couple and the guests without interrupting the flow of the event. During the ceremony, I focus on capturing reactions, emotion, and the full atmosphere of the moment, so when you look back at your photos, you can truly revisit how it all felt.

Cocktail Hour and Reception

I stay present through all the key moments including the first dances, toasts, cake cutting, and candid guest coverage throughout the evening. I also circle back for detailed shots of tablescapes and florals during dinner service when everything is fully styled and in place.

Golden Hour Portraits

If the timeline allows for it, I will bring you outside for a 10 to 15 minute portrait session during golden hour. The wooded hillside and open garden areas at Fox Hollow photograph very well in late afternoon light.

Evening Dance

As the evening transitions into dancing, I document the energy, movement, and joy on the dance floor. Whether you’re planning a sparkler exit, a private last dance, or a quiet moment away from the crowd, I stay through the final moments to complete the story of your day.

  • How many guests can Fox Hollow Farm accommodate?

The venue can seat up to 300 guests for a reception in the white tented patio, or up to 1,200 for a standing cocktail style event. The clear top garden tent seats up to 150. For ceremonies, the creekside lawn holds 150 with the option to expand to 250 with additional chair rentals.

Can you stay overnight at Fox Hollow Farm?

Yes. The historic 1940s manor house sleeps up to 16 guests and is available as part of the Wedding Weekend Getaway package, which includes two nights from Friday through Sunday. It is also available as a standalone overnight rental. This makes Fox Hollow one of the few Seattle area wedding venues where the wedding party can actually stay on the property for the full weekend.

What is the rain plan at Fox Hollow Farm?

Fox Hollow Farm is well set up for Pacific Northwest weather. Both the ceremony and cocktail hour have tented or indoor backup options. The clear top tent and the white tent are in place throughout the event, and the barn is available as an additional covered space for cocktail hour if needed. Your wedding day can still look beautiful regardless of what the weather does.

Can I bring my dog to Fox Hollow Farm?

Yes, dogs are welcome at Fox Hollow Farm. They’re allowed during the ceremony and portraits, and they always add the sweetest moments to your photos. The only restriction is during food service, so you’ll want to have someone designated to look after your pup during cocktail hour and dinner.

Is Fox Hollow Farm close to Seattle?

Yes. The venue is in Issaquah, about 20 to 30 miles from downtown Seattle and roughly 30 minutes by car.

Vendor Credits

This editorial shoot came together because of a talented group of Seattle area wedding vendors, each of whom brought real skill and intention to the day. If you are planning a wedding at Fox Hollow Farm or anywhere in the Pacific Northwest, I would highly recommend reaching out to any of them.

Florals were designed by Little Joy Fleurs, a Seattle based studio known for sculptural, foam free arrangements sourced from local Pacific Northwest growers.

The bridal gown came from Alyona's Bridal, a Seattle area boutique specializing in European designer gowns.

Hair and makeup was handled by @xenia_makeup_hair, and styling was coordinated by @ntwstyle.

The vintage burgundy Mercedes was provided by WA Classic Cars, and content creation on the day was by @ev.content. The venue is managed by Fox Hollow Farm by Landmark Event Co.
